CMM1200 Black&Decker | very easy to use

First, I would like to thank all who have posted comments above. Were very helpful to know what to expect when my new mower B & D has arrived. I also had previously purchased similar cordless rechargeable lawn and gardening tools (a small hedge trimmer and blower), which reassured me that this electric lawn mower would be a good fit. These items were produced by B & D, so I was familiar with their instructions and packaging - that I have come to interpret as 'the simpler the better'.

Let me clarify one thing - I do not think I would be classified as a typical B & D population. I am a 44 year old female clerk with a passion for gardening weekend. I do my own yard work and appreciate the discovery of these new tools that make work easier and faster. I also like the fact that I can retire my old touchy pull-start machines and gas canisters leaking.

The experience of buying from Amazon was wonderful. I ordered this mower on Tuesday and received an e-mail on Wednesday saying that it would be delivered on Friday. Sure enough, a driver appeared on the appointed day, just three days after placing the order, while I was home for lunch. I had to fall out of the box directly into my garage without me having to lift an ounce. I opened the end of the box and rolled out my new lawnmower. Fifteen minutes later was set up and charging, and I was headed to work.

TIP - Artwork bookmark pages so that after reading the instructions that can quickly flip to the corresponding image. Also, do not think that too - in fact it is incredibly simple.

I used the following morning. I still can not overcome the fast and easy that is to start this mower! No bending, no cord traction, engine coughing and sputtering not. My only concern entering this purchase was that my previous gas-guzzling car was self-propelled, and this new power was not. On a small plot that would not be a problem, but I have a sharp 1 / 4 with some minor but nevertheless significant, changes in grade. My concerns were laid to rest quickly as the lighter and more manoeuvrable machine did the work without adding additional stress to the operator.

Living in an area where smog is a problem. When I learned how much pollution a gas powered mower generates, I was shocked. Currently gave me I feel like I'm asthma in children in the neighborhood so I can have a lawn.
